Terms and Conditions
1. Payment
- Payment shall be made by Crossed Cheque,
Demand Draft (DD), RTGS, NEFT, Letter
of Credit (LC), or Bank Guarantee (BG).
- Delayed payment shall attract 18% interest
per annum from the date of invoice.
2. Taxes
- GST shall be charged extra to the buyer’s
account, wherever applicable, as per State or
Central Government requirements.
3. Goods Once Sold
- Goods once sold cannot be taken back or
exchanged unless they fulfill the conditions
of the consignment agreement.
4. Risk & Transit
- The seller shall not be responsible for loss or
damage of goods during transit.
- The seller’s risk ceases once goods leave the
premises, irrespective of whether delivery is
on FOR or FOB basis.
5. Inspection at Delivery
- Goods must be inspected at the seller’s
premises at the time of delivery.
- Rejections, damages, or breakage claims
after dispatch shall not be entertained.
6. Insurance
- Insurance shall be charged extra if the buyer
requires the goods to be covered under
insurance.
7. Delivery
- Delivery schedules are subject to availability
of raw materials and other conditions.
- The seller shall not be held liable for delays
under any circumstances, including when
time is the essence of the contract.
- Delay shall not be grounds for rejection,
cancellation, or refund of deposit/advance.
8. Storage and Handling
- If goods are not removed within 14 days of
intimation, storage/handling charges shall
apply.
- If not removed within 30 days, the buyer
forfeits all rights to the goods and advance
paid, without prejudice to the seller’s right
to recover the full value.
9. Liability & Damages
- The seller shall not be liable for any direct,
indirect, or consequential damages.
- In case of defects, liability is limited to
rectification only.
10. Legality of Orders
- The buyer assures that orders do not violate
any law, copyright, patent, trademark, or IP
rights.
- The buyer shall indemnify the seller against
claims or damages arising from violations.
11. Force Majeure
- Performance is subject to variation or
cancellation due to Acts of God, strikes,
lockouts, disputes, fire, floods, drought,
legislation, or other causes beyond the
seller’s control.
12. Jurisdiction
- All contracts are deemed executed in
Bengaluru, and disputes shall be under the
jurisdiction of competent Bengaluru courts
only.

Warranty Coverage
- Manufacturing Defects: 10 Years

Performance Warranty:
- 90% output for the first 10 years
- 80% output up to 25 years
Warranty Requirements
SPV Module Terms and Conditions
To avail warranty, customers must submit:
- 1. Type of system (On-grid, Off-grid, DC,
etc.).
- 2. Confirmation of DC-side protection devices:
SPD, fuses, lightning arrester, earthing,
inverter/PCU type, cable sizing, compliance
with BIS/IEC/MNRE standards.
- 3. Installation photographs with invoice copy
emailed to
info@innovativesolarsolutions.in.
- 4. Non-compliance shall render warranty void.
Warranty Exclusions & Limitations
Innovative warranty terms
This Limited Warranty shall not apply in the
following cases:
Identification & Alteration
- Modules with altered, removed, or
unreadable serial numbers.
- Changes in appearance (scratches, stains,
discoloration, rust, etc.) not affecting
performance.
Costs Not Covered
- Labour, removal, reinstallation, inspection,
shipping, transportation, customs duties,
insurance.
Glass & Appearance
- Breakage due to external causes.
- Normal wear and tear, mold, rust, or
discoloration post-delivery.
Damage Due to External Causes
- Non-approved devices, defective wiring,
poor installation, mishandling.
- Abrasion, artificial damage, animal activity,
improper storage.
- Improper cleaning, water/temperature
shocks >5°C, robotic cleaning damage.
- Exposure to voltages beyond specifications.
- Use on mobile units (vehicles, trailers, etc.).
- Negligence or third-party misconduct.
Warranty Claim Procedure
- 1. Written Notice – Notify defect within 30
days of discovery to the seller’s
office/email.
- 2. Required Documents – Invoice with serial
numbers, installation/test reports,
maintenance records, images of affected
modules/site.
- 3. Inspection – Allow on-site inspection by the
seller or representative.
- 4. Return Authorization – No module may be
returned without prior written approval.

5. Decision & Remedy – At seller’s
discretion:
- Repair defective module(s), or
- Replace with equivalent module(s),
or
- Provide supplementary modules to
cover power loss.
